Wed, 09/26/2012 - 1:19pm

Parker PAGE PTFE hose assembliesFor insulation purposes, the high resistivity of fluoropolymer plastics is an advantage but, in some cases, it can be a serious disadvantage as it results in static charge build up — which can result in spark generation. As an alternative, Parker PAGE offers PTFE hose assemblies with an anti-static PTFE inner core, preventing the accumulation of static charges.  According to the company:

  • Static dissipative hose also offers increased wear resistance.
  • These hoses are used in electro sensitive devices, combustible fluid transfer and particular chemical transfer applications.
  • Sizes range from ¼- up to 3-inches O.D.
