Pump for Antimicrobial Treatment Chemicals

Wed, 05/02/2007 - 12:24pm

The 520 Series peristaltic pump has been engineered for the handling of antimicrobial treatment chemicals such as monochloramine and sodium hypochlorite. The combination of its tube elements and pumphead design allows the 520 Series to be used for the metering, dosing, and transferring of chemicals often used to reduce microbial populations in sterilized chiller water in poultry processing facilities and other areas of the food industry. Entrained gas, often generated by the hypo, is pumped with ease, eliminating the occurrence of vapor locking that prevents conventional pumps from functioning properly.
