Ultraviolet disinfection provides an efficient, proven and dependable disinfection solution for water used in food and beverage production. There is no residue left behind by UV treatment that would interfere with the taste, color or product chemistry of the water, but it does eliminate any pathogens or spoilage organisms present. The system features multiple barriers between UV lamps and maintenance personnel, as well as a twist lock lamp replacement. The unit can be quickly and easily installed either horizontally or vertically. The quartz is cleaned by a wiping mechanism, with no need to disassemble the unit.
