New Sage ERP X3 V6.5 Gives Midsized Businesses Flexibility With Integrated Cloud Business Applications
Sage North America today announced Sage ERP X3 V6.5, featuring new extended cloud applications to help businesses manage operations more efficiently. Expected to be available in North America in October 2012, this latest version delivers enhanced usability and enables flexibility and mobility for midsized businesses. A key product in the Sage ERP portfolio, Sage ERP X3 is a full-service enterprise management software system for mid-market companies designed to support the most sophisticated business processes while remaining cost-effective, quick to implement and simple to use.
Sage ERP X3 V6.5 includes:CRM in the cloud, a new integration with Sage SalesLogix. Enhanced payment processing in the cloud using Sage Exchange. Efficient sales tax automation in the cloud with Sage Sales Tax.
Supporting the hybrid deployment model, Sage ERP X3 V6.5 offers the freedom to deploy business applications through the web. Sage SalesLogix, a CRM connected service integrated with Sage ERP X3 V6.5, allows mobile sales staff to record and track prospects and opportunities with full access to inventory and order status information -- all while on the go. With Sage Exchange, credit card transactions are processed in a fully PCI-DSS-compliant and secure manner from anywhere, anytime. Sage Sales Tax makes accurate tax calculations, using the most current rates and jurisdictions no matter where the transaction originates or the delivery arrives.
Extended features from V1 Document Management provide productivity improvements with the ability to either fax or email important documents -- thereby reducing the costs of physical mailings, as well as the carbon footprint of eco-conscious businesses.
A new financial reporting tool, Sage ERP X3 Intelligence Reporting, is also available. A flexible and powerful tool that can accommodate all financial reporting needs, the tool is Microsoft® Excel®-based, so users can leverage the existing skills of their accounting team and get up to speed quickly.
The addition of three new legislations (Angola, Romania and Slovakia) makes it even easier for businesses competing in the growing global economy to transact across international borders.
Sage ERP X3 V6.5 also enhances functionality and further simplifies implementations with enhancements requested by North American customers in inventory and distribution such as postal code autofill, product URLs and notes, stock movements, features in sales process, and accounting and finance.
