Organizers say the Nebraska Wind Power 2011 Conference this fall in Kearney will focus on Nebraska's future wind energy development challenges and opportunities.

The conference is set for Nov. 15-16 at the Holiday Inn's Younes conference center.

Workshop topics include commercial wind energy development, small wind energy systems, economic development opportunities, jobs, careers and wind energy training programs.

The conference is sponsored by the Nebraska Wind Working Group. The group is a state-federal partnership funded by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the U.S. Department of Energy.
