The Journal Gazette reports that HTFx Inc. plans to hire 70 to 100 workers as it launches production in the northeast Indiana city in about 30 days. It has leased an 18,000-square-foot plant in the city with the option to buy.
CEO and founder Brian Doherty says production workers will start with salaries of about $28,000 a year and engineers will earn about $100,000 annually. He says plans call for up to 300 people to be working at the plant next year.
HTFx is short for Heat Transfer Formula Exotherm. The company is based in Melbourne, Fla.
