The F4SS (Foundation for Strategic Sourcing), a non-profit organization serving the upstream Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) supply chain, has announced its next member conference to be held September 20-22, 2010 in Boston, MA at the Langham Hotel.
The F4SS Value Creation Conference will focus on sharing best practices to develop better business relationships. Industry leaders will discuss how to create value between customers and manufacturing suppliers through better collaboration, innovation and trust factors. This event will provide attendees with effective strategies and techniques to foster, implement and benchmark best practices within their organizations and throughout the supply chain.
The Conference will open on Monday, September 20 with an address from the Conference Keynote Speaker, Alan Day, Executive Director of State of Flux. State of Flux is a leading procurement and supply chain consultancy and strategic business partner to multi-national companies and major public-sector organizations. Mr. Day will present the results from their annual global SRM survey, which includes participation from members of F4SS, and assess best practices and capabilities across multiple industries globally. Attendees will gain actionable insights to help launch and develop value creating initiatives within their organizations.
Also presenting at the conference will be Gilles Leyrat, VP, Transformation Programs, Personal Systems Group for Hewlett-Packard. Other conference highlights include a presentation from Mark Kemp, Vice President, Business Development for Flextronics, as well as presentations from principals of such organizations as Vantage Partners, Argo, Inc., Neways Enterprises, just to name a few.
