EU carbon down for third day as energy weighs
LONDON (Reuters) - European carbon permits eased for a third day on Thursday as a softer energy complex weighed on prices.
EU Allowance futures for December delivery traded as low as 14.22 euros a tonne in the first hour of trade, 11 cents or 0.8 percent below Wednesday's close. Volumes were light at around 400 lots traded.
Prices are now down 2.6 percent from a two-week high of 14.60 euros hit on Tuesday. Despite the weakness, some analysts remained bullish.
