Heavy Metals Analyzers

Applied Spectrometry Associates has entered into an agreement to distribute the MTI brand of heavy metals analyzers throughout North America. The analyzers include several systems for analysis of heavy metals in water, wastewater, process liquids, and liquid samples extracted from food samples, solids, and other materials. The PDV6000 is a portable metals analyzer designed for use in the field, at process, or in laboratories. The OVA5000 is an on-line analysis system designed for rapid repeat analysis of specific metals at a fixed location. Optional apparatus for sample digestion and acid extractions are also available. Metals analyzed include arsenic, chrome VI, mercury, cadmium, lead, copper, zinc, manganese, iron, nickel, or cobalt. Special electrodes and electrolytes are available for analysis of multiple metals in certain applications. The analyzers use the anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV) method of analysis, which is recognized by EPA for analysis of dissolved metals.
