Dual Disc Check Valves

This dual disc wafer check valve line includes lug and flanged body styles that make them suitable for fire-safe design requirements and enhance their ability to reduce fugitive emissions at the flange connection. Valves are available in sizes from 2 to 72 in., ANSI Class 125 to 2,500, in a wide range of materials including cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum bronze, Alloy 20, Monel, and nickel. Other features include light weight, which reduces the need for pipe supports; a spring-loaded, double-door design with low cracking pressure; discs opening of 80 degrees to ensure positive closing; springs calculated to increase the responsiveness of the disc, thus reducing damaging effects of water hammer; extended leg springs that prevent seat wear caused by scrubbing; and resilient or metal-to-metal seats.
