Double-braided Silicone Hose

provides alternative to wrapped hose

Double-braided silicone hose offers greater flexibility than the fabric layers of wrapped hose will allow, and it is available in continuous lengths up to 50 feet. It offers comparable pressure ratings, and because it is an extruded product, its production costs are less than mandrel-built wrapped hose. Double-braided Silicone Hose is an all-Class VI product manufactured to high standards in a class 1000 clean room. The hose consists of an inner core of pure, smooth, platinum-cured silicone rubber followed by a layer of strong, durable polyester braid material. These layers are repeated, and an outer covering of white-colored silicone completes the hose.
