Laboratory Blender With NIR Spectrometer

The LM 40 laboratory scale blender is a mobile unit that includes an NIR spectrometer integrated into the lid of the blending bin with specially adapted 21CFR part 11 compliant software. The NIR system operates at 2,200 nm and is housed with the light source in a single GMP stainless steel box that rotates with the bin. Slip rings provide 24 VDC power, and data is transferred using wire cable rather than radio signals to prevent interference. The blender is integrated into a frame with lock casters, and a Plexiglas cover protects the type MC blending containers (standard container sizes: 5, 10, 20, and 40 liters) during rotation to ensure full worker safety.
