Clarifiers

for non-biological solids

High efficiency inclined parallel plate slot settler clarifiers are designed for precipitates and other non-biological solids settling applications. Flow of less than 10 to over 1,000 GPM can be accommodated. Slanted parallel plates create a high settling area of 70 to over 4000 sq. ft. of effective (projected) area. Clarifier has a larger area than the floor space occupied by unit. An influent distributor uniformly spreads raw incoming wastewater stream over the entire length of clarifier. Side entry plates allow heavy solids to drop unrestricted to sludge hopper and evenly distribute flow onto plates. Thick polypropylene plates are individually removable and handle high temperatures of over 150°F without warping.
