PSS Merlin Telemetry System is designed for haz-mat incident responders and takes the guesswork our of entry control and accountability procedures by bringing the information from inside the “hot zone” of each individual first responder to an area set up outside the event. Information such as the individual’s cylinder pressure, time to warning whistle and PASS alarm information in independently monitored to control and protect the lives or responders inside. System incorporates an entry control display board, a DraegerMan® Sentinel II® device and a portable remote entry module (REM) attached to the responder’s SCBA. This compact, self-contained electronic system uses radio technology to continuously transmit and receive data from up to 12 individuals per entry control board, simultaneously. System remotely monitors real-time status and safety situation from outside the incident area.
