Sentry 2.5 gallon aluminum pulsation dampener is a low-cost, high-quality dampener designed for 2" aluminum air diaphragm pumps. With a capacity of over three times the stroke volume of the typical 2" AOD pump, this dampener offers efficient operation and longer bladder life at an affordable price. Pulsation dampener reduces pump pulsation, pipe vibration and shaking up to 99%, protects expensive high-pressure tube and pipe, and extends pump component life while improving pump performance. Unit also minimizes pump cavitation, eliminates water hammer and pressure spikes generated by quick-closing valves and limits damaging pressure surges caused by pump start-up and shut-down.
