Sulphuric Acid Tanks

thermoplastic

Constructed of thermoplastic-lined FRP, using high-performance vinyl ester resins reinforced in glass fiber matrix, these tanks store sulphuric acid at a chlorine producing facility. Sulphuric acid is used in the chlorine drying towers. When cooled and water vapor saturated, chlorine gas is first filtered and then finally dried through absorption with sulphuric acid. Tanks are 23,500 US gallons capacity and dimensioned 14 feet in diameter by 20 feet high.
