Palletized filling is recommended whenever drums are to be stored or shipped on pallets, and a new drum filler has been developed to fill four 55-gallon drums in four minutes. Called the Bare Bones, it features all-welded structural steel construction, an NTEP-approved digital weight meter with an easy-to-read display and operator prompting, a 5,000-lb capacity scale base, four NTEP-approved load cells, a NEMA-12 enclosure, a microprocessor controller, and an RS-232 port for optional data acquisition and printer connection. It's also available in carbon or stainless steel.
