PDX Cartridge Seal is designed for food and chemical processing applications. Seal is a unitized kit or cartridge to be installed in specific positive-displacement (PD)-type process pumps. Multi-lip cartridge seal is engineered with a solid silicon-carbide sleeve that reduces heat and wear, greatly extending the life of PD pumps. Seal's bi-directional annular units insure positive sealing of both thick and thin fluids and allow pump reversing. Seal offers dry running capability and is available in many materials to suit varying applications. It is not affected by axial-end play or intermittent operation and torque, and it provides chemical resistance and non-clogging performance in viscous liquids.
