Cylinder Position Sensors

The BIM-UNT universal magnetic field sensor detects piston position on standard pneumatic cylinders. The unit uses magneto-resistive board level technology and is highly immune to EMC and polarity protected. In addition, the sensing face is in the front of the sensor to aid in detecting short stroke cylinders. The sensor comes with a quick-mount tab that helps seat the sensor in the cylinder’s groove, making single-handed mounting possible. Plus, the screw has been moved away from the cable-end, ensuring the sensor remains in place if the cable is pulled.
