FCMI flowmeters measure flow rates between 0 and 9.9 gallons per minute and use the magnetic inductive principle to detect flow in a range of electrically conductive fluids. The units have an accuracy rating of 2 percent of the measured value. Unlike paddle wheel or vortex flowmeters, they do not obstruct the flow of the media to obtain a measurement. In fact, they have no moving parts to experience wear and tear, virtually eliminating early replacements. The flowmeters may be applied in many industries including water treatment, steel, machine engineering, chemical, pharmaceutical, and energy.
