Promass 83 I Coriolis Flow Meter uses a patented torsion mode balance system (TMB™) for optimum balance and isolation from external influences. A pendulum is attached to the middle of the oscillation measuring tube to provide a balancing force. The accuracy and viscosity with the method differs depending on whether the fluid is Newtonian or non-Newtonian. Newtonian fluids can be measured with a high rate of repeatability and a reasonable rate of accuracy with this meter. Accuracy equals 5% of reading.
