P-series vacuum receivers offer the option of a swing-away filter head design for easy access to the filter for cleaning and maintenance. The swing-away head includes a special FDA approved composite material for the swing mechanism. The design is ideal for tight headroom applications, such as the loading of tablet presses. In addition, the receivers can be fully equipped with retractable spray ball assemblies, to allow for washing in place without opening the unit. This is particularly useful when dealing with the conveying and pneumatic transfer of potent active pharmaceutical ingredients.
