Valve Safety Shield

prevents sprayouts

To prevent hazardous sprayouts of dangerous chemical from valves, installation of safety shields are recommended. Manufactured from TFE-coated fiberglass material and customized for all valve styles, valve shields wrap completely around the valve and adjacent flanges. Indicating patch within the shield detects a leak. In the event of a sprayout, shields contain the chemical. Shields demonstrate broad chemical resistance to acids and caustics, withstand high temperatures up to 450°F and pressures to 1650 PSI.
