Model DH500-28X27X2 is a high capacity roll press briquetter designed to double machine productivity by adding a second pair of briquette-forming rolls, plus an improved gravity infeed system for greater control of output consistency despite the higher volume. It is designed for briquetting chemicals and minerals, among other products, for easier handling, shipping or reclamation. Machine also features a high-powered, 350-HP electric motor and a larger gearbox than earlier models, with no increase in machine width. Additional design features include external setting of lateral roll shaft alignment, allowing easy adjustment without use of shims and time-consuming disassembly. Hydraulic cylinders apply roll-separating forces of 330 tons.
