High capacity roll press briquetter produces briquettes sized from 3" x 2" x 1-1/4" up to 6" x 5" x 3" at throughputs ranging from 30-50 TPH. Model DH500 offers roll sizes from 28-54" in diameter, for optimal productivity depending on briquette size and density. Design also features external setting of roll shaft alignment, allowing easy adjustment without use of shims and time-consuming disassembly. Rolls are horizontally paired and fed from above, using either gravity feed or a motor-driven screw feeder. A closed hydraulic system assures that rolls will remain under virtually constant pressure when separating under briquetting load and allows easy control of roll separating force by adjusting the hydraulic pressure.
