B-220 Series pilot plant and small production volume briquetter has been redesigned to improve ease of maintenance, facilitate roll changes and strengthen drive train. Rated at 35 tons of roll separating force, briquetter offers a throughput range of 250-1000 lb./hr., depending on material, briquet size and density. Machine occupies just 6.5' x 4' of floor space. Briquetting is done by two rotating rolls with half-briquet cavities cut into the circumference of each. Machine's briquet-forming rolls are cantilevered and vertically opposed. Each machine includes one standard set of heat-treated stainless steel rolls with additional sets of rolls available in a range of alloys, depending on applications. It produces briquets up to a maximum dimension of 2-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1".
