Peristaltic Pump for Corrosive Chemicals

The SPX corrosive chemical pump is engineered for handling viscous chemicals in industrial applications. It’s extremely gentle, imparting virtually no shear, aeration, or agitation on the pumped product, which is important when pumping harsh materials including sludge and abrasive slurries. In addition, the pump is virtually maintenance-free with no expensive seals to replace, no check valves to clog, and no rotors and stators to wear out. Advanced hose technology enables it to generate tremendous suction lift and pump food products dependably over a long period of time. Fitted with Bioprene tubing, the pumps are capable of performing at pressures up to 50 psi and are resistant to fatigue, stress, and deterioration, cutting downtime and maximizing process efficiency. The tubing is post-cured to minimize leachables or extractables and to ensure optimal pump performance. Bioprene meets sanitary testing standards, including USP Class VI, ISO 10993, and USDA requirements, and is manufactured in Class J/10,000 cleanroom standards to cGMP guidelines.
