Cooling Tower Vacuum

CTV-1500 Cooling Tower Vacuum with filter is designed to handle dirty water in cooling towers that can foul chillers, rob heat exchange efficiency and drive up energy costs. Powerful unit will help maintain cleaner, more efficient cooling towers by quickly removing slime, algae, mud and other contaminants from the sides and floor of any cooling tower basin or sump without the need to drain the system. Vacuum features an adjustable flow control to allow operator to clean at the desired recovery rate up to 50 GPM. Unit not only helps to control costly chemical and water waste, but also eliminates the direct handling of dangerous cooling tower bacteria and other microorganisms. Vacuum can be used while cooling tower is in operation, eliminating system downtime. Specifications include: 1-1/2 HP motor; static lift of 25 feet; water displacement of 0-50 GPM; and two reusable filters of synthetic, 40 square foot, 5 and 60 micron media.
