The M-D Pneumatics gastight Competitor GT™ from Tuthill Vacuum & Blower Systems is the latest addition to their rotary positive blower lines. Competitor GT is the perfect fit for closed-loop pneumatic conveying systems using nitrogen or other gases. And as with several of their models, Competitor GT is designed with features found ordinarily only on premium grade blowers including oil lubrication on BOTH ends. It is available in 3.5", 4" and 5" gear sizes, and with mechanical seals. Flow ranges are 20-825 CFM; pressure up to 15 PSIG; and vacuum up to 16" Hg. Many models are also available in a noise-reducing version that incorporates Tuthill¹s unique tri-lobe rotor design and noise-optimized housing.

Competitor GT blowers are generally interchangeable, with respect to footprint, and shaft position and diameter, with equivalent sizes of competitive blowers, so replacement of existing installations is simplified.
