PXI-1031 chassis offers sound pressure levels as low as 40 dBA. The four-slot chassis accepts both 3U PXI and Compact PCI devices and has a 300 W universal AC power supply. The eight-slot PXI-1042Q chassis, a derivative of the current PXI-1042 eight-slot chassis, offers sound pressure levels as low as 43 dBA. Chassis' fan control technology optimizes the speeds of both the chassis system fans and the power supply fan. Operating temperature range is 0-40°C, making them suited for temperature-controlled environments requiring low acoustic noise.
