Wear Resistant Putty
durable
Fixmaster® Wear Resistant Putty is recommended for protecting, renewing and repairing worn surfaces on parts and equipment. Ceramic fibers in the trowelable putty give it excellent durability, making it ideal for protecting equipment exposed to wear corrosion and cavitation. Putty can provide tough, smooth, low-friction finishes on pipes, pumps, butterfly valves, turbine blades and tanks. Because it cures to a functional strength in six hours, equipment repaired can be quickly returned to service. When fully cured, putty provides a comprehensive strength of 11,600 PSI and a tensile strength of 4900 PSI.
