Sealless Process Pumps

M Series magnetically coupled sealless process pumps are designed to better withstand process upsets and cold starts, which can result in decoupling and permanent magnet damage. The pumps use generously sized magnetic couplings to help avoid decoupling under abnormal conditions. Their standard high-temperature samarium cobalt magnets are rated for over 500°F. Even in the event of decoupling or run dry, the magnets are more likely to survive than standard low-temperature magnets. Sealless construction eliminates maintenance on mechanical seals or shaft packing, and thrust control is a standard feature. A patented magnet area cooling path provides effective heat dissipation, reducing the normal fluid temperature rise. The pumps are built to handle many applications including difficult-to-seal liquids, toxic liquids, and hazardous working environments requiring leak-free pumping.
