Booth 1331. TURBO-HEAT-TREATER™ will continuously dry a metal powder to extremely low moisture for use in long-life batteries. Unit is shipped with internal electrical heating elements and drives attached on an integral base frame with insulated housing. Continuous tray dryer consists of a stack of rotating circular trays in a sealed enclosure. Material is fed onto the top tray, leveled, and after one revolution is wiped onto the next lower tray where the operation is repeated. Fans circulate heated air in the enclosure to provide the drying medium. Dryer can be used to dry solvent-wet materials with virtually 100% recovery of the solvent and gas/solids reactions.
