The SITRANS P DSIII flush-mounted pressure transmitter is designed according to sanitary guidelines and provides a connection to the process without any dead space; due to the flush-mounted stainless steel membrane, additional gaskets around the measuring cell are not necessary. It is certified to EHEDG and 3A standards, while the surface finish and fill fluids are in conformance with the FDA. The transmitter includes all the premium features and benefits of the DSIII line and works with materials that are difficult to measure (e.g. those with high viscosity or crystallization) and for CIP/SIP cleaning. With a large selection of available process connections, it can also be adapted to the specific design of users' equipment. Diagnostic capabilities include high- or low-signal limit alarms; peak value registers that store the maximum and minimum values for pressure, sensor temperature, and electronics temperature; and two programmable "watchdog" timers that alert the operator when user-set maintenance and calibration times occur.
