Self-contained, pressure/vacuum rated, stainless steel or Hastelloy filter dryer units incorporate a specially designed agitator and the ability to complete filtration and drying in one system. Agitated filter dryers are separated in two parts by a filter plate/screen. Upper part with specially designed agitator, receives slurry to be filtered and processes filter cake. Filtration takes place under pressure and/or vacuum. Further drying of cake is now possible with vacuum, heat or inert gas circulation. Lower part supports filter plate, screen and cloth and is supported on legs with castors.
