Coating

enhances aluminum alloys

TUFRAM surface coating is available to significantly enhance the physical properties of aluminum components across manufacturing, processing and packaging environments. Coatings combine the hardness of aluminum oxide ceramic with properties of selected polymers providing aluminum parts with new levels of hardness, wear and corrosion resistance and permanent lubricity. Hardness of treated metals can vary from Rc40-65 depending on alloy used and variety of TUFRAM chosen.
