Ball Valve With PVDF Materials

Type 546 Ball Valve is now available with Beta-PP and PVDF. These materials meet the requirements of chemical processing, food and beverage and other applications. Combined with the existing materials in PVC and CPVC, users can now select the most suitable material for virtually any application. Newly available Beta-PP material features excellent chemical resistance, high stiffness and maximum safety for impact stress and vibration. It is suitable for applications with operating temperatures from -10°C to 95°C. Second material, PVDF, is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic and exhibits high temperature and chemical resistance properties without the use of additives such as heat stabilizers. These properties also render it an ideal material for conveying ultrapure media in the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries. Temperature range for this material is -20°C to +140°C. Available in sizes 3/8" to 2" with choice of red or black handle, Type 546 valves buttress thread design offers rugged construction and strong connection for maximum safety.
