System improvement incorporates a plug adapter that connects directly to company's hand-held FU-2000 Electrofusion Joining Machine. Plug eliminates need for using conventional cables and band clamps, simplifying installation and significantly reducing installation time by as much as 30%. New design also incorporates a shrink-wrapped tube over fusion leads, protecting leads during fusion. Shrink-wrapping eliminates heat transfer, resulting in consistent fusion temperature and a stronger fusion joint. Sizes range from 1/2" to 2".
