Jacketed metal hoses consist of an inner core hose for the process and an outer jacket hose for heating media such as steam. Both hoses are constructed of corrugated metal with a wire braid. Heat in the jacket keeps the process molten and flowing in the core hose. Stainless steel is standard, but other materials are available. These jacketed hoses are fabricated to customer-specified sizes and lengths. Ends can be flanged, butt-weld, socket weld, threaded or quick connect. Depending on the size, the hoses can handle pressures to 18,000 psig and temperatures to 1,500°F. Flow Fabrication, Inc. 3162 Cullman Ave. Charlotte, NC, 28206
