Flexshield 1000 is a 2-component polyester aliphatic urethane coating designed to outperform standard coatings in heavy-duty industrial, chemical and other corrosive environments. With excellent flexibility and 25% elongation, coating provides long-term protection of equipment and surfaces that are subject to vibration, flexing and impact. It offers excellent corrosion resistance to a broad range of chemicals, acids, bases and solvents. It may be spray applied to prepared surfaces using an airless spray pump or by hand using a brush or roller. It can be built up by applying successive coats of 4-6 mils and cures fully within 24 hours.
