Dust-Free Drum Containment System

Portable, self-contained drum containment system keeps toxic, explosive, flammable powdered materials, and powders with difficult flow characteristics, totally contained to eliminate cross-contamination and personnel exposure during transfer operations from drums into any type of vessel or other container. DCS technology uses multiple containment barriers, which enable powder to be transferred in any environment, directly into process equipment by a single operator. DCS is designed to be used in conjunction with Powder Transfer System (PTS), a pneumatically operated system which conveys material, by dense phase, into a chamber then releases it under slight nitrogen pressure directly into the vessel. Compact PTS can discharge into a vessel under pressure, vacuum or with solvents present.
