Glass-Lined Steel Reactor

•Wall-mounted baffle design •Eliminates top-entry baffles •Improved mixing

Optimix® reactor modernizes pharmaceutical and chemical processes with a wall-mounted baffle design that allows for easier cleaning and optimizes efficiency and overall heat transfer in glass-lined rectors. Reactor eliminates need for top-entry baffles, instead utilizing three wall-mounted baffles to enhance heat transfer, solids suspension and distribution, gas dispersion, gas flow rates and mass transfer through improved mixing. Baffle design improves CIP efficiency by eliminating difficult to clean top head pocket at the baffle nozzle interface. Glass-lined reactors are available in pilot plant and production sizes with either a standard jacket or with a HemiCoil split-pipe jacket for optimum heat transfer. It is offered in sizes 20 gallons and greater. Baffles are added to existing vessels during reglassing, making it possible to upgrade any reactor to state-of-the-art technology.
