Valves

leakproof

Valves specified for liquid service are hydrostatically bench tested to 1-1/2 times the rated pressure in both open and closed positions. Valves designated for gas service are bubble tested with nitrogen at the rated pressure. The specially blended fluid used to coat each valve during testing means even minuscule leaks will not go undetected. All hand-operated gas and liquid service valves are also checked against established standards for both seating and running torque. Testing with elusive gases such as helium is available upon request.
