Mine-duty MSHA motors feature cast iron frames, endplates and conduit boxes. Ratings of 5-100 HP are available. These motors are TEFC or TEAO constructed and designed for harsh industrial applications. Windings include Inverter Spike Resistant® magnet wire for increased resistance from voltage surges. Motors have a Class F insulation system using varnish with 100% solids. They can be supplied with a variety of shaft extensions and mountings including C-face, D-flange, internal spline pump shaft or drilled shaft.
