Three absorbent desiccant grades are formulated for specific operating temperatures and meet drying applications in natural gas, coal-bed methane, biogas dehydration, or any compressed-air dryer. Each can be used in a single tower or series of dryers to reduce consumption rates and maximize moisture removal. The Gas Dry Prime is an economical adsorbent desiccant for coarse dehydration and is said to be good for drying fuel gas or as the first desiccant in a series of gas dryers. It’s formulated for operating temperatures exceeding 80°F. The Gas Dry Peak is designed for single and sequential tower natural gas dryers and removes moisture to establish a 33 percent RH in the gas line. It’s formulated for operating temperatures at or below 80°F. The Gas Dry Max is designed for stringent pipeline standards and is said to be good as a polishing desiccant in the last of a series of gas dryers. It’s formulated for operating temperatures at or below 100°F.
