Large Diameter Butterfly Valve

The Type 567 butterfly valve is available in sizes up to 12 in. and incorporates a double eccentric operating principle that allows the disc to disengage completely from the disc seal, even when partially open, reducing seal friction and improving seal wear characteristics. It also reduces the torque required to operate the valve and eliminates gaps between the disc and the seal. Typical applications include wastewater systems in such industries as chemical, chemical distribution, electroplating, and power plants.

Editor’s Note

The valve features bi-directional capability and a 150-psi rating. A Q-shaped O-ring eliminates the need for flat gaskets and is compatible with any flange adaptor design.
