Welding End Prep Tool

The Prepzilla MillHog I.D. clamping end prep tool features one mandrel that handles 1 1/2 in. I.D. to 8 5/8 in. O.D. tube and pipe with only eight sets of interchangeable clamps. Providing single point attachment, the tool is capable of producing preps on all wall thicknesses at any angle and is well suited for Super Duplex stainless steel and other hard alloys. Supplied as a complete kit with all clamp ribs and pads for the entire working range of the tool, the tool includes a hose with a filter, lubricator, and a metal carrying case. Standard features include oversize direct-drive gears supported by dual opposed tapered roller bearings, and a heavy-duty two-horsepower pneumatic motor. The selling price is $8,495, and units can be rented in the continental U.S. for $250 per week.
