Thomas Zant has been appointed president of Midland Manufacturing in Skokie, IL. He brings a broad experience in engineering, lean manufacturing, and international operations to Midland after spending the past four years with Siemens Water Technologies/U.S. Filter Corp., most recently as general manager of Stranco and Wallace & Tiernan Products. His prior experience includes positions with Pall Corp., Harper-Wyman Corp., and General Dynamics Corp. Midland specializes in products used on pressure and general purpose rail tank cars, chemical cargo tanks, and ISO containers for the safe handling of toxic materials, chemicals, and food products.
